The sound is a bit raspy, but MANY people have said that it sounds great. At low RPM's and light load, it sounds more like a muscle car, but once it gets past about 3000 RPM, things change a lot. It is fairly loud, but I've never been pulled over for it, perhaps because it's not screaming loud unless the throttle is wide open.
People think that the stock muffler is so restrictive. They need to listen to my car so that they can realize just how little that thing is actually doing.
