Follow your Gut instinct.
Does the girl bring joy and happiness?
Is she a PIA, or utterly loyal, dependable, caring, and trustworth?
Does she have any substance abuse problems?
The American Dream:
1. stable, interesting, and secure, high paying job
2. trophy wife, good looking, intelligent, a good breeder
3. healthy, smart, good looking kids
4. time and money enough to pursue hobbies, or sports
So many of us have failed to achieve the American Dream. Perhaps it is because it is just a Dream. And those who have outwardly appeared to have achieved it, are in reality: tormented by insecurities, paranoia, depression, or substance abuse.
I'll just fall back on H. L. Menken's definition of life:
Life: A great sucking whirlpool of despair, enlightened by false hopes in an ever darkening universe. (joking)
Follow your Gut instinct. If your gut tells you to change your phone number, or move . . . . do it. If it tells you that you will never find a better woman that this one . . . man up and take the plunge.
