K so the knock sensor on my SC mkI has been broken for a while now and it throws a CEL after running for about a minute so my CEL is my unofficial running light now. The 4agze is a pig to get this for because they are almost always already gone or broken. I'm sick of looking I wouldn't mind spending $20 to fix it but most wreckers want about $80 for them.
So is there any other engine that has the same knock sensor, ignoring the plug pattern I can make up my own ie Something I can plug it in and it will send the right signels to the stock ecu. Maybe off a later 3sge or off a 20v? I have a 20v one laying around if that works.
