Sounds like somebody gave you some bad information.
There is no difference between '88+ NA and SC cranks. All 4AGE versions used the same crankshaft 1988 model year through the end of the 1991 model year. The part number is 13401-16020, regardless of whether it's naturally aspirated or supercharged.
