It needs to be custom wired (unless you get a PnP harness from mr220v) and the 16v head fits (20v intake won't bolt up though needs an adapter) but it's a backwards step you are better off with the 20v head with the vvti and such. Tranny bolts right up I did it yesterday when I bolted the locker on my new engine

I used the silvertop clutch it all fits perfect.
I am still trying to figure out what harness I need on my 20v mr2 and what ecu. I think that I am going to go with an auto ecu and jumper the park sensor so it starts. I can wire it, will just do it like my mk1.5 but there are a couple different ecu's and I don't want to burn one out plugging it in.
