If your asking about headgaskets, here's some other do's and don'ts---

1. Don't skimp on the headgasket, remember this is a pressurized engine, NOT normally aspirated.

2. Do use a torque-wrench ONLY to bolt this cylinder head to the block.

3. Don't assemble either surface without first "cleaning" to a absolutely, perfectly metal only finish.

4. Do follow the Torgue sequence shown on Page EM-46 without exception.

5. Don't use the used head bolts without confirming their lengths with a micrometer.
(3.54in & 4.25in) otherwise use new!!

6. Do use the 3 timing marks shown on Page EM-23/49 (only turn crankshaft clockwise)and the one on EM-16 (TDC)

7. Don't use that old distributor O-ring no matter what-- Page IG10&11

8. Do consider new rubber washers on these valve cover bolts-old ones will leak.
