Then reset the ECU by either removing the neg. batt. cable or removing the AM2 fuse from the engine compartment.. then it runs fine for a short amount of time, then starts bogging again,, and gradually gets worse until it won't move again.
If it were just a coil.. then the car would be acting up all the time,, reset ECU or not.

Mine was doing that same thing.....after I would drive about 15mins or so I would come to a light then trouble would ensue. At one point I towed it home with my other n/a, much to the dismay of the mrs., as I made her be the pullie(it was less than 2 miles, thats as far as I got) If I sat there with the ecu unplugged(am2 fuse) for like 10 min.s or so, it would fire back up, rev fine, but only give me a mile or 2 then start cutting out, I never pulled the EFI fuse though, never thought of that. I have now rebuilt the dizzy, replaced EVERYTHING cost me just short of a grand, save for the knock sensor, the "thing" on top of the s/c with the bigger air hoses running to and from it (I think its an ACV), vsv for the fpr, and the bad pulley, still running the n/a one till I save up some money again, and it seems to be fine except a slight "delay" with the s/c, only "kicks" in at higher rpms, did replace the wires AGAIN, another 85.00 bucks, so hoping the delay is with the pulley. So maybe your problem is within all that, MAYBE it was the same symptom as yours, but a diffirent problem. My coil was brand new and was causing, probably the majority of my problems, but I did replace the fuel pump and all those assorted goodies......I'll try and see if I can come up with a solution for yours, as you helped me out ALOT, even if to vent to someone that feels my pain, If we werent so far apart, Id have you over for some beers or vice versa so I can help you out with your ride. If you unplug the acv, does it still happen, and is it just under load while driving, or can you leave it running in the garage, like mine, and it still act up after the allotted time while not driving just revving? For awhile mine would bog/cut out even with the s/c relay unplugged, as running like an n/a, if I stomped it, I could actually kill the engine. Let me know how it goes, and drop me a line if you need anything. I also wanted to add that, if your coil is weak it can run okay till you get on it, as you increase the voltage needed it comes in to rapid of succession to continue continuity and therefore will lead to no spark, but will spark when there is less demand. My old 71 Pontiac did that, I sat there and fooled with the points for months, till some old cat explained it to me like that, and once I replaced the coil it went away......I would run out and buy a coil, but if you have one extra lying around, or swap one in for a few, Id try it......the coil I got for the 2 was like 50.00 bucks and it was an accel yellow.
