the 4e-fte is a direct bolt in a toyota tercel, to give you an idea of what that engine is meant for. putting it in an mr2 i think would be a waste of time with the more powerful options out there. i mean its a turbo 4cylinder that makes less power than a 5s. I would feel like turbo'ing the 4agze would be way more practical and put out way more power mod for mod. i went from the tercel background to the mr2 and have some history with this motor. People in the tercel world have found they can get way more power out of a 5efhe (stock motor is the 5efe for 95+ tercel's) with the "H" meaning higher compression pistons, bigger cams, and bigger displacement (1.5>1.3) so having a 1.6 that bolts in i would be really surprised to see people go this direction.
