YES for the love of god. Why ask for help if you are going to assume otherwise as if you already know? It works but you have to remote mount your oil filter which you should do anyway when running a turbo on the exhaust side of the block to keep from heating your oil excessively.

I am using one on my MR2 and if you have access to mr2oc.com there is several people using it. It does not hit the firewall. It is not top mount. It works. I would suggest moving the starter to the intake side if you have that option. You can even run the AC with this manifold. It is not for the AE86 but the AE92 Corolla which is FWD. It will work and it will take alot of the guesswork out of your set-up. It will also make the turbo build look alot cleaner.

Now if you want to try and fix what you have I would suggest you start by moving the intake filter for the motor to a fresh air source where or you can simply build a dump pipe so your exhaust is not in the engine bay. The motor operates by burning Oxygen, not gas. The gas is simply the catalyst that burns the gas and makes the explosion. I would start there and then recheck ALL your vac lines and lines you have plugged to be sure that they are good. Another problem is your AFM as it should be before the turbo. When you run it after the turbo and you are at the RPM that makes boost it will shove the flapper door open. I would also check the AFM as it looks as if it has been apart and they are easy to mess up. If you have a spare start with it.
