It really isnt all that hard mechanically so much as it is electrically. Just get the pnp harness and it will bolt in with a few adjustments. It's going to need a few things "custom" but not all that hard. Coolant lines are different, throttle cable is different, and fuel line is different. If he's a mechanic who knows some things he'll be able to do it.
