It scares me that I had to think long and hard about that last bit.
Hopefully I will be able to make the factory AC work right. But I've also just discovered if I do go to an electric unit, I'll have to get a beefier alternator- the AC units I've been checking out use a bit over 500W!
I wonder if I could even just use a twin alternator setup and use one of them purely to run an electric AC... Hmm... I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
