we are not all master tuners....lots of trial and error still going on here. I don't think we have a single BEAMS owner that actually knows what the limits are so far.
I roll with lots of Honda boys, ring-lands seem to be the weaker point often times with compression ratios lowered & all else OEM. This is with simple tuning, not 100s of hours on the dyno that we can't afford.
Higher compressions & turbo with-not-so-perfect timing, tuning & fueling can get hazzardous quickly.
8psi or less *can* be *safe*-ish, just keep the fueling right....q.e.d. higher flow pump & related FPR, possible injectors & piggyback
