Ah yes but the extra torque helps bring you some control plus you can always go to wider tyres, mine are 11" wide rear but that might be over the top for road use.

Actually the gen 2 3sge rods are about the same as the gen 2 3sgte rods and hold a lot of horsepower, compression ratio is higher but correct tuning can overcome that.....plus I may have some flattop pistons for my setup just laying around as you do

I want to see where my pet project takes me, it hasn't had a majorly good run yet, mostly handling issues but on the straights it was a rocket. The engine for me is just so much easier to get, 4agze are hard to come by now and the 3sge isn't, people in my country are basically throwing out low km motors for lack of buyers plus there is a larger parts base at cheaper prices. I will try to get a video up of my one doing a hard run if I can just to show how it howls (there are plenty of others on the net though on youtube). It starts a quarter of a turn and pulls all day (last owner took care of it), I love it, it's different, nice to drive and pretty powerful.
