Surprised to see this thread but it makes me feel good that others realize what the significance of this day is. The sad part is too many people do not see nor realize what the cost of our freedom is. Too much whining about the price of Gas while driving an Escalade. I wish some people would just STFU and realize what we have and what it REALLY cost for us to have it. All the children that grew up with out a Dad or even a Mom. How many parents lost a child. How many wives have lost their husbands. My words on this screen before you is only there from the sacrifices of many. The ultimate sacrifice. You take a second and think about what must have went through their minds in their last few seconds being alone on a foreign land fighting for something that they probably did not care about. Thinking about their wife or children. Hoping their parents would be proud of them. Then the next time you look at your kids, wife, parents, hell even your neighbors you thank them.

To them I deeply thank, wholeheartedly.
