Lol I brought an MR2 the guy lost the key for. Took about 30 seconds to smash the key barrel out, he couldn't believe how easy it was. You could do that but the ignition housing is screwed there after (and ignition barrel if you used a slide and screw). It was an early mkI though and I'm not sure if they redesigned the barrel later on. A good slide hammer and screw should do it.......yes I have broken into cars...mostly my own
Sometimes you can just try random keys and they can turn, my mkI started with a mitsi sigma key once, was a serious wtf? moment
