Before someone else says it, the information below is coming directly out of the BGB (the toyota service manual), its your best friend and you can view it online at
MR2-Tech.com - BGB
42 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal
52 - Knock Sensor Signal
I'd try and search on those key words and see what comes up.
On a side note, when I want to search mr2.com for short phrases, I actually prefer using one of googles "advanced" features and doing a seacrch with the "site" restriction. i.e.
site:mr2.com code 52 knock sensor
