s54 i think that is the stock 2.2ltr trans lol
did you drive the car with stock then modded heads? how was the difference?
how bout the flywheel which sounds fun
no cooling issues.. i should get some gauges however .. the rear felt hooked up but a little waggy with 50 series tires, zero rear toe, and old ass stock front shock. stiff front shocks will make the rear plant and me feel better - it was scary going down thru the blind s turns after the bowl. . i also dont like non linear springs which add to the bumps during full g loads when the springs are already compressed in the rear... you can see the bottoming on the fast right hander before the bowl turn
so on stock springs i dont know how different it would feel from my n/a car...probably not much...
the lsd is not a huge issue at this power level.. the key thing is to have a nice front sway or if you have coils have really heavy front springs to plant the back... and only use the stock rear bar or no rear bar .. anything other then stock rear is a bad move
that being said i would love lsd but i but for now i prefer the short gearing with the 175-180 whp im running
here is another vid of me vs a fairly sorted 3rd gen.. its my cars 1st day with stock pads and the crap front shocks plus i had a passenger . not sayin i can beat a 3rd gen but i can come close to this guy im with a few more mods
i have one more vid of jim driving then me driving a little quicker in a few spots after learning the track a bit more
