I've been trying to get my mom to give me the 91 MR2 she got for my little sister for about 2 years now. She finally let me BORROW it to save gas (my other car has 5.7L V8) and the motor goes 3 days later. Now she's letting me have the car instead of trying to sell it to me. The dealer that sold her the car wants to buy it back and throw a twin turbo motor in it. So... before I make the decision on keeping the car, or trying to get the dealer to trade me something for it, I have a few questions...

1. Does the turbo engine mate to the auto tranny that came with the N/A engine?
2. Can the stock 2200cc N/A engine handle boost or be rebuilt to handle boost, and if so, how much?
3. Aside from the A-Spec & J-Spec engines made for these cars, are there any other toyota engines that could be swapped in that came in other cars? Basically, what CAN I put in it, other than an MR2 engine?
4. Are there any auto trannies with longer gears or 5-spd auto that can be swapped in? I can drive stick, but refuse to spend the extra money to get clutch installed. Wife can't drive stick either.

I think i had some more questions, but they slip my mind at the time. I appoligize for not taking the time to search the forum for answers, but I'm in a time crunch with making this decision on keeping the car or not.
