how much does a vette weigh? On this build weight is not a factor for me at all, simply getting a working mk1 inline v8 is the mission.I'm expecting this to come in at around 1200-1250 kgs by the time all of the chassis stiffeners and rollcage are added.The engine itself is not a heavy unit, and i have mounted it more towards the centre of the car, i think oversteer will be more of a concern than understeer.
