Anything that breaks the rules will be removed and you will be executed by a firing squad!
Placing Ads
Here are the guidlines to follow for posting Parts Ads in this forum.
Every listing should be proceded by one of the following:
FS: For sale
GI: Gauging Interest
WTB: Wanted To Buy
WTT: Wanted To Trade
FREE: Stuff you are giving away
Then you should include a brief description of the item(s) you wish to buy, sell, or trade, possibly including location and price.
Here are some sample titles.
FS: XBOX - Bay Area, CA - $150
The body of the post should include as much information as you can gather as well as detailed pictures, unless you are opting for a local buyer that can physically see the items for sale. The more information and pictures you have available, the better better your chances will be of having a smooth transaction. If you don't have a digital camera, get one. It's the year 2005 already!
Browsing Ads
We live in a Free Market society, and thus, the Market will always dictate the price of an item. Any item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. With that thought in mind, please be respectful with your comments regarding price. Sellers will likely find "lowball" offers offensive. Please use your best judgement. If you think a seller's price is too high, and you would like to make a respectable counter offer, please feel free to do so. You may also opt to make use of the free private message to accomplish this. If you have no interest in buying a vehicle being offered for sale here, there is no reason for you to comment on the price. Please leave that to serious buyers. Let the Free Market system work itself out.
