the engine is based off of the ford 3.0l but that engine is a push rod and so yamaha had to redesign it for the dohc. It is a heavy engine but no more than the northstar engine. also I have been running searches here and can not find any info what so ever. again any info that i can get will be greatly appriciated. I have thought this trough to the ugly end and know that it will not be cheap in the least. but it will be nice to have the nastiest frist gen mr2 in the state of ohio. thanks again all but i do need some info or help to find the info............
