Seriously, it's McDonalds, they hire those of unknown origin that can't speak English, and then they put them on the register and at the drive thru. This is a company not known for it's quality of hiring processes or in the people they hire (no offense).
The fact that you even started a thread asking for advice shows more motivation than I have ever seen in that establishment.
