No...if only I had a dollar for every time someone moaned about how many thousands of pounds the stock system weighed. it is NOT that heavy. The stock muffler is almost exactly 20 pounds, plus the cat and downpipe, which are another ten combined,
maybe.
My car is 2400, full of gas. '85, sunroof, with power everything, functional A/C, cruise, spare tire, jack, etc.
