If you are completely and absolutely serious about the swap you should pull wiring diagrams up and join a forum where they are familiar with the motor your going to swap and ask a million questions about everything, axles, gearbox, wiring, fuel pump, basic power figures and what to expect from the motor reliability wise and what you could change that fails while you have it out.
You should know a lot about what your dealing with before thinking about touching it. Oh yeah and measure twice and cut once
