I had to watch these again. It just looks like so much fun.

the lsd is not a huge issue at this power level.. the key thing is to have a nice front sway or if you have coils have really heavy front springs to plant the back... and only use the stock rear bar or no rear bar .. anything other then stock rear is a bad move
Yeah, non-linear springs are an interesting sort. I've found the stock springs much more stable and predictable. My Sportlines compress quite a bit as well under full load, and it sometimes hinders quick direction changes, but I'm not bottoming out yet. The damping rates on the Bilstein HDs might help that. I have the TRD front and rear sways, and the rear is definitely more tail happy. I kept my stock bars, thankfully, but I'm gonna try some other balance changes before I replace the rear. I'd like some wider rear wheels, but with as much money as I'm spending on my swap, I doubt that'll be a possibility until later, after body work and paint.

I have ported heads on my 1MZ too, but since I've never driven a normal 1MZ MR2, I have no basis for comparison. It pulls very strong though, and 1st gear WOT lifts the front end and squats the rear quite a bit (thanks to progressive rate springs and the super strong S51 1st gear). My injectors were cleaned and flow 10cc higher (to 255cc/min @ 43 psi, 297cc @ 50 psi) than before as well, so I can't wait to hit the dyno and see what I'm making.
