Just thought I'd give you guys an update; it was the clutch that was bad. I paid $103.99 for a Luk brand, which included the throwout bearing and alignment tool. The flywheel didn't have to get reground. It was actually a fairly easy task (compared to dropping transmissions on other cars). The hardest part was getting the trans back in (I used a regular jack and the help of a friend). It shifts like new now. The input shaft was still good, and the trans didn't have any real wear considering the mileage.

Now all I have to do is fix the rear quarters, paint the car, and it's good to go.
