I wonder if you're having the same issue I am.

I recently installed a new clutch and put a new front poly mount in and started hearing a pop/twange. Sounds kind of like a large piece of metal being flexed and then released/popped?

I was under the car last night and saw that my new mount was flexing the bulkhead it bolts to. Try tapping the metal near the mount and see if it makes the same noise. I have no ideas how to fix it yet.
