My mkI is an 88 SC with some higher compression pistons, header back exhaust and stock intake. Hauls some serious a$$. My mkII is a 3sge with custom exhaust and intake. Neither is a slug just the mkI feels faster. My gutted n/a mkI feels about the same as the mkII but it is a featherweight its a hollow comparison. I keep meaning to go to the DYO drag meets just to see what they post but always forget.
They are all irrelevant in comparison to the mk1.5 it hooks up so well, it does ludicrous speed
