First- great site and tons of info for newbie. Just wrapping up the simple things- new fluids, brake pads, plugs, rad flush, minor detailing. ready for tires soon so recommendations appreciated. Not looking for performance adds but want to enjoy and preserve and keep cost down. I am second owner and it has 107k original valdiated miles. Body and interior are shockingly perfect for age of car. Runs strong and smooth and it shifts flawlessly. No T Top water leaks but have discovered oil buildup on rear of engine - plan on massive engine clean this weekend. Biggest flag for now is the R12 based AC system- I actually have some 13 year old 12 oz cans but assume there is a leak.

Questions:

1. Do the off the shelf additive leak stops actually work? I cannot find R12 specific leak stop additives but R134A is common. Can I use that and then refill with fresh R12?

2. When battery replaced the radio locked up and I am told there is a code to bring the radio back to life? How, what, where do I get this?

3. Dust boot around right front strut is totally gone. are there any aftermarket boots that can be added? the car handles so great and is quiet from suspension so I really do not want to spend on strut/shock replacement at this time.

4. Only cosmetic issue is the shift boot is faded and looks bad. where can I get one- have had no luck thus far on ebay.

5. Finally it does not have fog lights and I would like to add- where can I get stock fits?
