...and realize that he let you off, probably for being polite. A non fixable exhaust ticket is like, $350 if they don't reduce the fine. When I used to get pulled over (AKA profiled because of how my car looks), if they let me off with a warning I couldn't have cared less if he refered to me as little Sally Walker and told me to prance away sissy boy.
In fact, here's a good one for you - I was driving down PCH in my friends MR2 with a new gt28. My GF was driving my car. Someone called the cops on us for street racing, and they were posted waiting for us. We got next to each other, gunned it, and got pulled over. They tried to search the car, popped the engine lid on both cars, and made ME sit on the curb and patted me down and everything. I was polite the whole time (even when refusing to let them search the car/pop the engine lid without the OWNERS permission), and told the truth...the car I was driving got off with a speeding ticket and a non fixable exhaust ticket, my car just got a speeding ticket. Was I pissed that I got patted down, talked to rudely at first, and made to sit on the curb on PCH at the begining of Laguna Beach - where I got made fun by at least 3 passerbys in expensive cars? HELL NO...I got out of a potential speed racing ticket, got to keep my car, and didn't get sent to the state ref. I thanked them and told them to have a good night!
