I don't see why this job is such a big deal.. Heck the hardest part is taking off a few underbody panels. The rest is draing from the drain points, running a water hose to the radiator fill cap, and run that water through the entire system, until it all comes out..


you will have to tilt the car on stands a bit to get all the old coolant out, and water when you flush it..


Then, fill it with 50/50 mix of Toyota Red/Distilled water. Bleeding the system is easy as well.


And, get a new thermostat, and gasket while you are at it..


I've done it 2 times on my MK1, and once on my MK2.. it's not too bad.
