ok i gotta jump in this one.
camry motors are a little different the trannys bolt up different. (some do swap but there are some that just wont)
I work at a junk yard but not the kind you think. the 'new term is vehical and parts recovery center.' my buisness is part of the URG group (google it) and we have strict standereds we have to follow.
when we pull a drive train we do it bolt by bolt, clip by clip, NOTHING IS CUT meaning you get a complete motor with harness, only thing we cut when we pull a motor is the cat convertor. we even screw the majority of the bolts finger tight so you have them if you break yours when you pull your motor. every motor is started and ran for about 30min before we pull it to ensure no problems and you get a warrenty. you get a paper confirming the milage of the car.
all of our cars are on stands and bar coded, for easy searching. we have right now about 600 cars, we just crushed 300+ cus we ran out of space.
now a junk yard will cut **** to get the engine out and hack the harness, we get fired if we do that(no joke).
if you want i can look in our computer (that searches all the centers in our group about 300) and find a center nearest to you with the milage you want.
oh yeah the system we have, tells ALL the interchanges of almost any car part made for just about every make. so yeah holla at me if you want me to look.
