Toyota uses glue on those grub screws so a little elbow grease is going to be needed to remove yours if you want to. Also going to confirm that the thread also is a reducing ( tapered thread ) diameter.

PS you will never get rid of it. After polishing 5 days later and its white again and powdery  Do what Rogue did and paint it after you clean it up. |
Little nervous about pulling those...have some bad experiences with steel bolts in alloy...buggers seize up and there is a good change of stripping them..could drill and re-tap tho...going to paint all the block and pan black with a red gearbox
