The axles and alternator are the least of the issues installing a BEAMS into a mk1. If you get one from a Celica (which is most common) you'll have the alternator on the exhaust side. You can also use the stock NA axles from the mk2 with no modification. Since, the cheapest BEAMS' come with automatics you'll have to have an S54 transmission (if you want to be cheap). You'll also need a 3sgte flywheel and pressure plate and 5sfe clutch. This is the quick explaination of what you'll need. It is far from the complete transplant step by step exlpaination.
