How and why would lomger rods help this ? It doesnt make sence to me. The ability of a stud to stretch instead of being hard which will pull the block makes sense. To achieve a better stretch = longer studs, Ferrari has 12 inch studs
Longer rods mean that when the piston is pushing down, the rod is more vertical through the stroke, less forces pushing against the side of the block I guess?
