Only instantaneously on takeoff and its so small a difference as to be not noticable, what is noticable however is the jerking on the drivetrain and engine vibrations. Drag cars do it because they use the engine to brace the chassis somewhat and they are certainly not worried about vibrations so do whats easiest and wont tear (steel).

I run hard mounts on my racecar because its whats easiest. I also would wear and tear the mounts if they had much movement I thrash the crap outa the car on gravel

That sikaflex is what was recommended to me, your basically looking for something that is really hard and rubbery, I used a clear window sealer and even though I let it cure it "squished" out (technical term)
