Well, basically, because it is
too convenient for everyone else, and the system gets abused; I end up chasing a dozen PMs where one forum post (or email, or phone call) would get the job done. Plus I can't keep records or customer files like I can with email.

They lower the car. On most cars, it's about an inch, front and rear, depending slightly on what year, what options, what engine/trans combo, etc.
