Our donor battery to jump start is it full charge ? Or is it from a running car ?
Seems to me that you have a battery only , if so its probably low, not enough juice to start.
If its a running car you have problems.
Second if you disconnect that donor and totally dies, you MR2 battery is dead.
New battery required . And possibly your alternator is gone also.
