yeah i think so, even though it wasnt mapped for my car it would tear a slice of my st182 in terms of pace and wasnt that much slower than the stock ecu, the problem was just the low end really, once you got it going it was the same really and i ran it up to and just over 8000rpm with no issues, I always ran it a little rich for safety so hence down on power, so yeah i'd say it will work fine, but its gonna take someone else to prove it!
I should add I had input from a proffesional tuner whilst getting it to work, who in particular was very experienced with toyota engines in general and particularly the 1zz/2zz engines having been one of the first to offer a supercharger kit with power-fc for the 7th gen celica in the uk, this was like hmm 8 odd years ago he started with them, it was him who anaylised my logs and told me the changes i needed to make and to use the coils from a 1zz etc and he was very impressed with the results so yes i do think it has potential!
