There were no clips in mine either. All screws. Make sure you pull the radio bezel off too, that is hold the front end down.

Once you get the center console out it's pretty much self explanatory from there. You'll see bolts holding the shifter assembly down (4, I think, 12mm or 14mm). Make sure to detach the shifter cables before pulled the base out. Once you have the base out you'll have the pry the shifter out of its socket. There is a small clip in the plastic holding it down, remove that first. You'll likely need some help with the neutral return spring and putting it all back together.
