I installed two short shifters, it's super easy.

you don't have to undo the shifter cables as you can just pop the one off and take off the clip for the left side one and unbolt the 4 bolts and drop the assembly, repack the cup with grease while you are in there, it's worth it.

I'll do a write up tomorrow when I lube my shifter cables if you wanna wait.
