^As usual, it all comes down to how the motor looks under the valve cover. In general there seems to be more sludgy Bt's out there for some reason. With either motor, you need to be looking at its internal condition before you buy.
Worth the 10 extra hp? Plenty of people spend lots more than that on aftermarket parts and get less of a return. It just depends on whether it's important to you and whether you mind having a somewhat more peaky motor.
