Pitch those 20 lb headlights?

My Project Drag Car was hit in the front when I got it. I SawZall'd off the entire front end down to the frame just in front of the suspension wheel mounts. Moved the rad against the front firewall and pitched the entire headlight assemblies. I molded the headlight covers to the hood.

I had to reinf the fenders to hold the bumper skin and used a super lightweight spoiler under the bumper. Dumping the 20lb front bumper reinforcement was a a drag strip only move, and not recommened if you are a street cruiser.

Like Jackstand indicated the reduced weight did make a big difference.!
