I was talking about the brass shifter cable bushings, I also had the brass base bushings as well. The brass shifter cable bushings made a giant difference, at least for me in my mk1. The brass base shifter bushings elimenated alot of movement in the shift plate, which plagued my mk1 during spirited driving. I'm going to get some more for my mk2. I suggest getting it, cause the rubber ones get worn out and depressed over time, especially if your two is your daily driver.
