We'll i worked on Janice's whip today. Here's what i took a stab at:
- Fixed that exhaust leak she had. **** was a mess, had to rig it up puerto rican style but it doesn't leak and wont leak anymore. It's much quieter now cuz all the exhaust is exiting out the back which is nice.
- Looked at the cluster **** of wires you guys call your throttle cable. I've never seen anything more ****ing rigged up in my life. BUT anyways, the cable from the TB to the 1st box is new, all the other cables and rotating things and the cruise control i adjusted and put WD-40 on them and worked out any gunk in them. Went inside the car and lubed up the pedal a bit, worked that one.
- I drove the car around for a while, maybe 30 mins. It felt much smoother. Car RPM was down a little around 1000-1100 instead of the 1250 it normally ran at (This is by the gauge also, haven't done a digital reading on the true RPMs)
- I took out her intake and looked at the ISCV hole. Plugged it with my finger and it bogged down like you all said. Don't think there is a vacuum leak anywhere. I patched up a small hole she had on her intake system no biggy there.
That's about it. Car runs smooth now for me. Idles fine, doesn't stay high or bog down at all anymore. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens when a female drives.
