I'm curious about that as well. In my cars, it's inevitable that they will get polyurethane suspension bushings if I am going to drive them with any enthusiasm at all. I think poly bushings are the only way to go for a roadgoing performance car. They work great and last forever, and the price is certainly right.
So what are the arguments against them? Well, road noise is marginally increased, but not by enough to worry about. There are still some people out there warning everyone that they squeak, but they are simply repeating what other, equally inexperienced people are telling them. I've personally used them in three Toyotas over ten years and more than 200,000 miles, and I've never heard any bushing squeak. These kits have steel sleeves that the bushings rotate around rather than twisting as the rubber bushings do, and they come with a special lube that never seems to wear out or go away.
