I hear you. LOL The first MR2 I bought the guy told me the sway bar mounts had rusted out. I asked him if he meant the frame. He said not the straps. Got under the car and found he had bolted the sway bar back up by drilling holes in the remaining solid part of the car. I couldn't get under the car when i bought it since I was having medical problems at the time. So I took the engine out of that one and put it in a non running MR2, the one with the brake. The none runner had the brake, wire nuts, radio harness hacked out of it, and a slew of other electrical problems all involving wire nuts or loose wire touching the ground. Then I find out the engine from the first car had the pulley break or something so they welded it back together. So now the only way tp time it is by ear. I'm replacing the timing belt and seals this week so I'm going to try to fix that. In fact, my avatar is a pretty much accurate picture of who I bought the car off. LOL
