I must say, after going back to street tires from the worn Falken Azenis I had, road noise is really a non-issue. The car is very quiet given its age and design.
I used a ball joint puller to remove inner control arm bushings, and a large drill bit to soften and weaken the bigger strut rod bushings to the point that they can be wrestled out.
