If you have no power after replacing the timing belt, that's the first thing to check. If one of your cams is off a tooth, that will cut into your power a lot. It's also pretty easy to check, just verify all the timing marks (both cams and the crank) line up at the same time. Then check your spark timing with a timing light.

Also check for vacuum leaks, esp. around the intake gasket.
