A friend has a MK I MR2 T top (blue) that his wife drove without checking the oil, resulting in terminal rod knock. Fortunately it was parked as soon as they heard it.
It's been in my yard for about a year as a potential 24 Hours of Lemons car, but we just didn't have the heart (and we found a Nissan to sacrifice).
It has a set of ok tires, alloy wheels, mild (for the NE) rust, and the usual 23 year old interior.
Great parts car or a project.
I can negotiate a bit on price if there are parts that you are willing to leave behind for my '86, such as the brake calipers/disks or the like.
